yes I was using the same files in windows. I have them on a internal hard drive. I can see the main drive but no sub directories. How do I change the permissions for that drive? I have seen something about Fstab I think but have no clue.

I am trying to get plex to work with my Ubuntu Studio and it will not see any of my media files. How do I go about fixing this? Sorry for all the posts but I figure that its the best way to learn. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do you get plex to see your media in Ubuntu Studio? I have been fighting with it and can't seem to get it. I am a noob to linux but I am going to learn it if it kills me because I am tired of windows.

I am using Ubuntu Studio and it happened before the install and I am installing with a disk. 8 gigs ram and 3.2 ghz intel processor. I have installed and it seems to work fine but I'm a little concerned about that message. Is there something else I am suppose to update? oh and the motherboard...

I am trying to install ubuntu with a disk. It will start to install and then the monitor goes off and I get nothing? I am new to linux and would like to get away from Windows if I can. It's not looking good for me so far. I have tried to try it before installing and it does the same thing...
