Is Debian or Transmission trying to tell me something?

Oh God. Sorry about this... Also, I didn't know you had Autism. :) Also, I never thought to use Askjeeves or Google or DDG, which I could have done... Sorry..... ^^' I think next time I'll install a Terminal Widget that reminds me to RTFM. Or look for many of the sites that have the same...

Is Debian or Transmission trying to tell me something?

So, it's October, and I'm back from /dev/tty900.... Long time, no seek, lots of coffee, lots of caffeine. Well, lately, whenever a Torrent finishes, e.g., Kali Linux, Tails, insert any obsure_OS_name here, I keep getting xclock being opened up, and it's after each Torrent finishes. A few...

It's time for a poll. How long have you used Linux?

Wow. That brings back memories. Ubuntu had Unity then. I miss Ubuntu with Unity.... :\ Also, thank you for your service, good sir/ma'am. How long were you in the Army for? :)

It's time for a poll. How long have you used Linux?

I rather liked that Eunuchs OS. :) But I use Debian and Ubuntu mainly. If I'm extra-jacked-up on Coffee (Coffee darker than my closet), I may even run *BSD as well.

    Hey Guys. :) I'm still alive. :D

Yeah, thanks. I'm terrible with consistency. I don't think we've met. Some time before 2020, I remember the Penguin guy ScottsGeek being an Admin, or a Moderator. I also remember others like @atanere ... Are you new-ish here? :) It's nice to meet you. :D

    Mint on my imac

That's cool. :D macOS is Unix-based, so putting Linux on it, especially since you'd need to basically play with a Ouija Board to get even Catalina on that iMac, is a good move. I love Peppermint OS myself. :D

    Hey Guys. :) I'm still alive. :D

Since COVID and quarantine started (which ended soon after 2021-22), my already-prevalent lack of interest in socializing (I have Austism, as some of you here know) took a huge blow. I still called people and visited others, but mostly just stayed in my room, making up excuses to stay home. I...

Wait. What happened? I've been away from Linux.org, and society in general, holed up in my room. Is everything with @wizardfromoz and @wendy-lebaron okay?

Ah. You were in the Air Force? Thank you for your service and bravery. :) I have Autism, so I can't enlist, but I want to contribute somehow, maybe with Programming..... -I think the Air Force invented TAILS Linux.- Wait, that was TOR, and the Navy did that. My bad... :) What is your favorite...

And in the Southern U.S., we found a buried pocket of Methane, and any minute, amateur Miners are going to extract it with only a soup spoon and rusty fork.

Virus guards for Linux? Is it necessary

Hey @Tharindu! :) Welcome to Linux, and linux.org! :D It's up to you, as to whether or not you want to use AV Software in your Linux Distro. I use ClamAV because, well, I can... ;) And, 'cuz it never hurts, though I've never, to my knowledge, had some dangerous Virus or Trojan or some Malware on...

how to exit installation process open-ssh in ubuntu 20.04

That's cool that you use Docker.... :) When you say "we" and "our", are you part of a business or non-profit, or some other organization? :) 'Cuz if it's more than one person (you), you'll need to be careful for SURE not to kill installations partway through... I'd say let it finish, and then...
