    I've pared it down to 4. I use a 4 port KVMA switch. Keeps the clutter down on the operating table, leaving more room for my straight key and log book. (and that stack of drive caddies in the corner:).)

    I use the NUVI2597LMT. The only problem I have with it is that the update software is written for Win####. I was thinking of loading reactos, just to try that for updates, but I just have not had the time, as yet.

    Jay, have you looked at reactos? It is a group of individuals who are building a windows lookalike from the ground up. I think that it is v.4?? by now. Not quite beta, but it looks really good. I think that they say there are 7,000,000 lines of code so far. That is quite an achievement as far...

    In slackware command prompt, you can use rpm2tgz to convert rpm packages for use in slackware. Happy trails Paul
