    H/W RAID and ext4

    Hi all, I am setting up and H/W Raid based on Icy Box RD3640. I found over the Internet that fsck.ext4 has some specific parameters for RAID units (stripe and stride essentially), my question is : are those parameters to be specified even for HW RAID unit or just for software RAIDs ? Thank you
