I went to log in on Google Chrome and get yellow lines running at the top of page and...oops we've run in to problems. Closed the "oops we've run in to problems" hit F5...I could log in but I clicked one Thread and got...not logged in again. So the problem isn't just Brave...I'm using Firefox...

They are all on...makes no differance but if I hit F5 and refresh it works...very strange.

I'm using Brave as I have for a long time on this site...I usually get...checking your Browser...which could last a few seconds to several minutes...I'll try a different Browser...fingers crossed.

I don't know what you mean...no need to format or partition anything...I plug in Flash Drive...use etcher to burn Foxclone ISO to it then plug in an external HDD/SSD...create a folder and name it...Boot to Foxclone and go from there...same goes for Redo Rescue.
