It no longer makes sense for windows to be the default gaming OS

I forgot to talk about VR Support, which Is almost nonexistent on Linux. Yes there Is ALVR but i've never managed to get It to work. Discord on Wayland doesnt support PTT outside of the Window (like if the Window Is focused you can use It until the cursor Is inside the Window). Shitty...

It no longer makes sense for windows to be the default gaming OS

Yet it still is. It still makes sense because: 1) Some games are still unavailable due to anticheat issues (either ideological or commercial) 2) Discord support on Linux is awful3 3) Gaming peripherals still dont have native programs 4) The only native Launcher is Steam and sometimes Tinkering...

    VESA Monitor suggestions

As I specified, I mean the mounting hardware and not the display. Idk if monitors use a different standard or if it's outdated, I thought I was clear on the post that I was referring to the mounting thing. I literally said "for attaching it to the wall" to avoid ambiguities

    VESA Monitor suggestions

Hi everybody :) I have to buy a new monitor. I need the following features: 24"/27", VESA support (for attaching it to the wall), 75hz or more, VA or IPS. My use case: Coding, word processing, office stuff, casual gaming (Sonic Mania, LoL, Minecraft, the Cycle, Apex Legends). 150€ is the budget...

Should I change Gentoo as my main distro to Debian?

"You have to compile everything" What a monster PC you have to compile in less than 92222489999999 hours? If you daily drive Gentoo you're probably an advanced user. I don't feel like advising any Debian-based distro or Debian itself. If you want to switch to a good, bleeding edge and stable...
