I installed windows in one partition and in another partition I am trying to install Ubuntu 18.04.

ok we are getting somewhere . Your a new member so we will cut you some slack in, in fact we give slack to all memebers new or old . So one concept for you to consider is to imagine being in our shoes, what do we have to look at that might give us some clues ..as to what went wrong ?

so i am hinting at you explaining what you did leading up to it going wrong , what happened, can you give us any output from your PC , screen shot or output to file that me might look at ? So can you tell us if at least Windows booted fine after you installed it ..and just out of interest how did you install the Windows by cd disk?

ok are you installing from an iso burned to probably a DVD since cd's are only circa 700 + megabytes (from memory) . Do you have a spare USB stick ? Before the install started did the live OS boot up working ok and then i guess you started install ?

ok well that shows initiative something i will admit i haven't done

ok my guess is that there is a bottle neck with that method as say against USB3. you installed Windows that way or ..

ok data tansfer dpends on type of SD card you have class 2 only 2.0 mb/sec whereas usb 1.0 12 mb/sec so it could simple be as i said a bottle neck, but if you can get hold of card reader Sd card why don't you just try USB 2 or 3 ?

I would go along with what Cap said above.
If possible, use a USB stick. We know that they work; not sure about SD cards.
I will give that a try and report back on my results.

Can you show us the content of the USB stick from your Windows File Manager?

And welcome, @Md Yeasin Nur Rahman :)

all we can do @70TangoCharlie when Wiz's not here is start from O.P touchline, move up towards midfield , insight of the box if lucky and line it up for Wiz to put it to bed

I installed the windows with the same SD card and stick. The SD card has good speed and the stick is also fast. But I don't have any idea of pendrive speed. Because, I borrow it from my brother.Nowplease tell me that,is there any condition to have a super speed pendrive to install ubuntu 18.04?But, already installed windows with a stick and SD card. I also have a try Ubutu from the stick, but I want to install it.
