Hi Thanks for the quick reply,
In fact i don's want to swap or remap the keys, but i want to use both delete key and a short cut for it like - "fn+q" perform the operation the "delete" key as well.
does the same solution "xmodmap" will work for my rquirement?

Try it
If you have Timeshift installed you can always reverse the install and remapping etc etc
