Hello

I would like some tips and recommendations for setting up a torrent system on my Fedora 36 server. The server currently contains 2 internal drive and 3 USB 3 drives all being samba shared. This setup is working very well. I would like to have a FOLDER on one of the attached USB disk to be the location for the torrents. The SAMBA shared drive belong to the smbuser and smbgroup.

I have tried transmission and qBitTorrent and work well ONLY if the destination FOLDER for the torrent is located on the DRIVE where FEDORA is installed which I find limiting.

You can change the destination folder. Sorry, used pepe meme to hide weird computer name XD.

go figure. On my windows machine I gave everyone FULL control on the folder that is part of a SAMBA share and can now use the attached usb drive (Fedora) for torrents
