Dictionary permission denied.

so, I today switched to zorin from ubuntu....I had a hard disk partition for backup of my files. When I tried to access the partition there was a error...I checked the permission of the dictionary....It was written "systemd-dump". I am new to linux and I don't know what to do....please help me with this. thank you!

Try running following from a terminal.
Code:
sudo chown sujay:sujay -R /meda/sujay
Then try to access the backup directory again.

Thank you....btw, it was working after I installed the zorin core 16.1.
 
You can try to run:
sudo nautilus
With this Command, you can enter your Files and Folder with Root Permissions...
This would likely temporarily get him access, but doesn't solve the problem. However, I think he was already able to resolve.
