I can't find any factory-set Bluetooth options in pclinuxOs, at most in opensuse, but send&receive doesn't work there either -I am interested in all 2 distributions
Thanks

I had no problem getting bluetooth to work on PCLinuxOS. you might want to list your system particulars by going to a terminal and typing
Code:
inxi -Fxxzr
and posting the output here. Also make sure secure boot is turned off in bios that can interfere with Bluetooth and wifi card on some systems.

When posting the output of such a command you should copy and paste it in code </> tags it makes it much easier to read.
It would look something like this

Now with your wifi card it's an Intel 3165 which is quite old now and I'm not sure that PCLinuxOS has the correct kernel or driver for this Best place to check on that might be the PCLinuxOS forum. Which is found here
The head dev of PCLOS often is there and would be more able to help with the bluetooth issue. Though someone else here may be able to offer more help also.

Is that a good or bad idea to add a password to this standing email address?

They'll set your initial password - which you can change.

Unless they've screwed with the SMF code, when you change your password they should have no way of knowing what your new password is. It should be salted and hashed before stored in the database, with no way to recover it as the password itself isn't stored.

Source: Me... I used to be on the SMF team, years and years ago.

Also, it means the admin probably isn't very good at running a forum. There are many ways to secure registration available.

Still, send them a junk password and then set your own new password - but be sure it's not a password you use for any other sites.

I also think - the password must be different, maybe I should wait until it works again? at night maybe?

That's a setting the admin ticked in the ACP (admin control panel). It's intentional - not broken.

Well, they may have hit it unintentionally, I suppose.

No one had replied to my email there yet, but what about this software in the start menu in the Internet area? It's called NitroShare- doesn't seem to work either.
Maybe I should download updates?
Is the linux.org download link for pcLinuxOS up to date?

I would download and install both pclinuxOs and opensuse from the manufacturer's website! my question: is it better to install like windows 11-online?

You email the admin with your preferred user name (nick name and any password you want.) PW can be changed after you logged in if you want.
The Admin is reliable and usually quite quick with the response. The whole Idea is to keep spam off the forum.

if someone looks in here again - I wouldn't see too much point in getting everything to work in such outdated variants...
I can only speak of my case, with this Solus distribution (at the back) - I don't know how new it is, I can do everything!
Of course I can post the technical details of my notebook again for comparison?
