I just downloaded elementary OS a few hours ago. Managed to fix them thanks to a 54 year old gentleman from my previous thread. But now i have a new issue. I watched a video on YouTube from average linux user. In that he details 15 things you can do to make the OS better. But i dont know how to install tweak (he does it really fast in like 3 seconds) he said tweak is helpful for changing specific settings. So how do i enable it?

(I did manage to install firefox from the terminal after a few failed tries)

These help guides are written......you can follow them slowlyyyy

Lol thanks. And no need to mock me with that "slowlyyyy" not all of us are programmers or coders. Some of us need help adjusting to things like linux.

@SiddhantKetkar I put Elementary OS onto my wifes laptop ; its not a bad OS . I haven't spent that much time on it but installed game Abe , i think its called a sort of retro Super Mario for our 8 yrs old to play . LibreOffice is on there i think. Its based on ubuntu so packages via menu or via command line "apt " et cetera . Just play with it. I think you should be able to install TimeShift if you haven't done so already to revert if need be. Me am a Slacker so Condobloke is your man and @70 Tango Charlie. I'm sure Condobloke wasn't mocking, what he probably meant was take your time, don't fast read so you can digest things. I code but i'm a slow leaner (bad speller too). Remember the Hare and the hound ! (Aesops fables)

Perhaps you could go on over to your other topic and say if that problem is solved?
Yeah but i have no idea how to delete a thread or say it's been solved. This is my first time doing this old school forum stuff. So i don't really know much. Can you tell me the steps? I have to sleep now but I'll do it in the morning

Welcome @SiddhantKetkar to the forum.
I, like you, am not a programmer or coder {although I am dabbling a little bit in C programming after a few years using Linux first}.
Almost everyone new to Linux must learn how to s-l-o-w down. It took me quite awhile to learn to do that.
I don't think @Condobloke was 'mocking' you at all. He was suggesting to you what we have ALL had to learn when using Linux - slow down and, as @captain-sensible wrote - spend time digesting what you read.
Once again,
Welcome to the forum! Enjoy your trip on the Linux Express!
Old Geezer, Tango Charlie

Edit your topic title to say (Solved).....and then in the usual spot for a reply say what it was that fixed it.

He wasn't :)

Some of the people who upload videos go click click click all over the place as if they were trying to set a speed record.

So for "slowlyyyy" read "at your own pace".
