Hiya. I'm Jaime. I'm studying game development at UCSC.
I've used Linux since around 2008 when my dad got me a tiny cheap laptop that wasn't powerful enough for Windows. I wasn't fond of the OS at all at the time, since my technical know-how was very limited, my high school was very demanding, and I needed something that would just work consistently and not break, so for most things I tended to just use my desktop -- but ever since Windows started heading in the whole unconditional mobile support direction, I dropped it pretty quickly and never looked back.
Now that I've learned a lot more programming and a little more about how to use Linux, I happily run Ubuntu with Cinnamon on my main computer, Raspbian in text mode on a Pi handheld I slapped together with electrical tape because I know nothing about electronics, and Debian with Fluxbox on the "craptop" my dad got me -- still kicking around after all these years.
