I've been replying in the Internet Browser thread, I want to check out what people are using for their Email. I've been having a hard time finding a good Email Provider.
I use Tutanota, if you use it for free its basically Gmail but more secure. It's UI is a little hard to get used to, but I...
At first it really seems strange, but I find it to be a really good browser. Started using it because of this thread. Especially with the ads I've seen, just strange. Very secure though, especially if you use DuckDuckGo with it.
Actually from what I can tell DuckDuckGo isn't technically a "Browser" anymore. It's a addon for existing browsers, and I believe runs different based on what your base browser is. People should still consider the browser they have DuckDuckGo on. Or that's what I think based on past experiences...
Ah. I knew it would be on a game by game basis, but never knew it was that variable. The reason I don't want to use Windows even just for gaming is because it seemed too tedious, and I'm on a very thin budget (It was $750 but I really wanted some good performance). I'll definitely have to think...
What I mean is that I don't know how they would run, I actually got a response saying that they hadn't found any issues. Not knowing how Lutris would run games doesn't mean that it doesn't run well.
Firefox+DuckDuckGo (Extension that basically protects you from malicious sites, and gives you a report on the security of a site you're on by checking it's privacy policy and what trackers your browser is using). Thinking of checking out Brave.
I don't want to pay $100 for Windows 10 and I hate the watermark in the free trial. I just don't see any point in it when there are perfectly good application to let me run Windows games on Linux.
I did, I'm asking how games that are supported run. Do they run as if you were using them straight from windows, or is it a bit slower do to how it has to work? I know it's gotta be somewhat case by case because of the open source nature, but overall how do the games run?
I was worried about Borderlands 3 and The Behemoth games (BattleBlock Theater, Castle Crashers, Pit People) mostly. Didn't know if I needed to be specific before, sorry.
I'm going to be upgrading my PC soon, going from a crappy $300 Walmart laptop to a nice $800 Tower good enough to run AAA games. The thing is I don't wanna pay the dumb ass price that Windows sells their OS for, which seems to be considerably worse in loading times compared to Linux. I am a bit...
