    ...and yes, I haven't pursued how to fix it. So, I right clicked the small frame to get preferences and enabled tool-tip so I could see the time in that locale with a mouseover.

    It's just a blank frame where the clock used to be on the panel. If you mouseover the spot where it used to be you may see the outline of a small frame, if it's the same situation that I experienced.

    The same happened to me. I found that the clocks were still there, but were too small to see. If you mouseover where they were you may see a tiny outline or if you had tooltip enabled the time/date would show up. ...or mine was a special case. Nothing I tried would restore their original size.
