Thanks for the info, but it won't be needed. My printer settings, etc. stayed intact too. Printing works just fine without my doing anything new.

Yeah, I knew I was doing that but was just too lazy to do otherwise. I would do it differently next time. (1959er here...kids these days.)

I should mention too that OnlyOffice stayed put and works as usual. I haven't tried printing yet, but I'm guessing that might work fine too. And all this through the further upgrade to 21.1 Vera.

Sadly, the "left click" portion of my touchpad barely works, but I just tried it again and with some force in just the right place, I got the panel activated and the option turned on. Whew! All good now. Thanks for your help and patience, everyone.

I'm at "Mouse and Touchpad" but I'm on the Mouse panel. How can I use the keys to switch to the Touchpad panel? Been trying but haven't found the right combo yet.

Well, I upgraded successfully....mostly. I don't use a mouse, only the touchpad, which currently won't work. I can move the cursor around, but tapping the pad does nothing. Any thoughts?

You were close, I think. I didn't find anything in PPAs, but I did find it (with others) in Additional Repositories, where I have disabled it. (The cache then refreshed itself.) Hopefully this will allow the upgrade. Thanks!

I'm getting an error message that the upgrade process tells me I'm supposed to fix before it can continue, but I don't know how to fix it. This is the 'E' message: The repository 'https://repo.skype.com/deb stable InRelease' is not signed. Immediately before this message is a 'W'arning message...
