Thanks for getting back so quickly. The 'Virtual Core Pointer' shows the XTEST pointer and my Logitech M325.

My new Pavilion is great except for one thing: the touchpad doesn't work with Linux Mint. No problem with using the mouse, just the touchpad. With Windows I can use both. I'd like to use both with LM too.
