I had another thread about Linux Mint causing a black screen where i cannot do anything after waking up from suspend and i have to either take the battery out or hold the power button (which cause a little bit of corruption on my dual booted windows 10.) Today i dual booted Xubuntu thinking...

Grub Menu Not Showing Up Upon Rebooting

Well i found my first problem. For some reason OS boot manager wasnt at the top.. and when clicking enter on the boot manager, Windows 10 was the first entry. Just pressed F6 on ubuntu to switch that above windows and i am booting into grub now. Thanks!! :D

Grub Menu Not Showing Up Upon Rebooting

I had no idea about that.. there were several fixes online and none of them mentioned changing the boot order. Now that i think about it though that would make a little bit of sense..

Well, me again with another issue......... After attempting to reinstall grub and attempting to use boot-repair, my grub menu wont show up when rebooting my laptop. I am dual booted with Linux Mint and Windows 10, and i can boot into Mint just fine with the F9 key but (obviously) i find it...

    Driver Manager Empty?

I have been told that the Driver Manager in Linux Mint should have an option to install reccomended propriety drivers and show current installed drivers. My Driver Manager shows absolutely nothing except for "No propriety drivers are in use." The reason im wondering about drivers is because on...

    Grub Install Failed.

That makes alot of sense and ill have to try that when i get a chance. I will let you know how it goes and could i possibly install a new grub2 by itself without the official ISO install? If not, is there a way to default booting into the boot manager and not straight into windows so i dont have...

    Grub Install Failed.

My installation completes, i just cannot install grub because i get an error every time. The whole os works perfect (i would assume because theres no errors for anything else) my only issue is that i just cant boot to it without grub. Thats why i figured theres an update or something that isnt...

    Grub Install Failed.

Ive been googling like crazy and everything i find doesnt ever work for me. I did have a new question though. A while back on my first install, mint asked me if i wanted to install updates to save time later, but now my new installs arent showing that. Could it be an update problem, like im not...

    Grub Install Failed.

Thing about my BIOS is that i dont have any options that others have. I only have legacy (which is disabled) and i have secureboot. I dont have anything related to UEFI or fastboot. Does this give any more info on anything or am i just giving pointless information to you lol
