Evidently you can't change directory to /var/services/homes/admin because there is no such file or directory, it doesn't exist. And, /homes is not a normal /home directory.

Are you using SSH Keys as a user other than root?
If you are that could be part of your problem.
You have to create a home folder and a ssh folder.
See the link below.

What distro are you running and...........
Does your distro boot regardless of that message?

Hi,

I'm running it on DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2 and I use Putty to connect as root. If I try to connect as an user, the system kicks me out.

However, I can connect through https://192.168.0.250:5001 as admin or as an user ok.

Other than that, the unit works just fine.

Part 2: (I hit post instead of enter)

The link you posted applies to my case but I cannot follow it as I don't have the same option on step one: "Go to Control Panel > User > User Home "

Thank you.

Linux 3.2.40 armv7l

I finally managed to create homes directories and that solved my "problem".
Thanks again.

That's great news! ;)
Glad I could be of help.

When you get a chance go back to the very first thread you made and mark it Solved.
