I have some issues wit one of us ports, like that:
I guess port is failed. I have enough ports. I don't need this one, it can be turned off and my motherboard is able to do it (Asus m5a97 r2.0).
But in mobosetup there is a list of USB ports named from 1 to14 (IIRC) to be turned off.
How to determine which asus port is that one (usb4-port2)?
Or, from the other side - how to fix the issue?
I'm not using the port, but it doesn't matter - I have still such issues. When OS is started everything looks ok, but booting is extremely long - need 3 to 4 minutes to have login screen.
Code:
usb 4-2: device descriptor read/64, error -110
usb 4-2: device not accepting address 4, error -110
usb 4-2: device not accepting address 5, error -110
usb usb4-port2: unable to enumerate USB device
