Hello! I am really interested into switching from Windows 10 to Linux. However, i am a completely newbie and would like some help.
First of all, am i going to need to restore my drivers after the installation? If so, how do i backup them and install them on linux? Do i need some special program?
Also, which distribution do you guys recommend for a more gaming focused pc?
I would be really glad if you guys could give me some essential tips so i don't mess up.
Thanks! Sorry if the text sounds confusing, english isn't my main language :v

If you want to game on linux go with ubuntu. This distro has good support for drivers. After installation you need only to check that you want to use proprietary drivers. OS should autodetect and inform you about it. Other drivers like wifi, sound card etc. are handled during installation .Also all indie game studios recommend using ubuntu for their games. Check out any steam game that supports linux under requirements section you'll find something like this:
