Hey guys! :3 So I decided to start using less periods in my sentences, to clean up, as it were, so that anybody browsing these threads can better read my replies/questions... :) So, on to the question..... It looks like Mom won't be able to get me that 1TB Hard Drive, and since my small (SMALL) Computer business isn't doing so well yet, I kinda' have to make do my 500GB Hard Drive. :) I've run KDirStat, and the Windows version, WinDirStat, and I've determined that my largest Files or Folders are those under Windows (surprise), and that these are: Virtual Machines running old versions of Windows (I'm talking NT, 95, etc.), games like SimCity 2013, which is pretty small, given that it's a modern game, and modern games tend to take up a LOT of space. Of those games, I don't have too many of. :) The biggest one is The Sims 4. :) Should I just wipe and reinstall everything (WHEEEEE!! :D), or just delete my VMs (one of which is Kali Linux)? :) I thought about re-partitioning everything and just giving Windows the most space, and give Linux (openSUSE) much less, and just have the NTFS Filesystem be auto-mounted on Login, where I have my Music, Picture, Documents (my Programs and Source Code are in there, y'know, Hello World examples, examples of C, C#, Python, Ruby, and my own Programs I built from scratch). :) Well, I'm going to go ahead and just do this, but post install, some suggestions would be appreciated. :D Also, for those who live in the U.S., how was your 4th of July? :) Are you looking forward to Autumn? :) Wait, hey Wiz, do they have Fall in Australia at the same time we do, or is it different because you're closer to the South Pole? :3

Hi Adam ;)

We don't actually use the word Fall for Autumn here, although I love the way it conjures up images of falling leaves :p

It's actually mid-Winter here, exactly the opposite of your Northern Hemisphere. So cold.

On the subject matter, sounds like you have asked and answered your own questions.

If Kali is the largest of your VMs, I would consider deleting it. Take a note first of the security applications that come installed with it, and you will find that in (Debian) Synaptic Package Manager and many other Package Managers in other Distros and Families, a number of them can be installed to try out the security side of operations.

Cheers

Chris

Thanks, good sir! :3 Yeah, I'll have a look at Synaptic. :3 Also, aren't you guys closer to the South Pole than, say, the southern tip of Africa? :3

From a little south of Sydney, down to the bottom tip of our island State, Tasmania, is south of the Cape of Good Hope in Africa.

Wiz

BTW - Cape Horn at the southern tip of South America, is even further south at 55 degrees.
