Read Length of the frame of wireless Temperature Sensor

I need the sample code which help me to search the peripheral device connected to to my laptop.
I am connecting wireless temperature sensor via USB port, and I want to read the length of Bytes contained in frame using Linux command interface.
Any leads on this will be great help.

Yeah, i'd agree w/ arochester on this one - i'd actually bet most of their engineers are running/testing w/ Linux anyway.
