New member...

Hello, after having an on again/off again relationship w/Linux since 2000, I've decided to go all the way in. Currently running Ubuntu 16.04 on an old HP laptop (formerly Windows 7---which I've wiped clean). Also, I'm familiar w/CentOS7. I'm a bit rusty in BASH, so I'm relearning commands. I've taken several Linux courses along the way, i.e. EdX Intro to Linux and currently StackSkills Learn Linux... Interested in taking/passing the LFCS exam

So what prompted the epithany? Too much privacy invasion, too many BSODs?......I have spare time now, so I wanted to get back into Linux. Possibly turn a hobby into a job and have fun while getting paid for it.
