Hello everyone. I've been getting captcha requirements lately when using Brave browser upon arrival at linux.org. When I visit running Chromium, cloudfare just does a quick assessment, then connects.

A few moments ago, I finally got logged in on Brave and then could not navigate the site, then it crashed. So, I had to reboot into Manjaro, which has Chromium.

I have Brave on my Xubuntu because of the infinite stupidity of Canonical removing the Chromium debs in favor of their snap-crap.

What's the solution?

Thanks.

There has been a ddos going on since yesterday I think on linux.org, so the Administrator turned up the Cloudflare security settings, that's probably the reason why you are probably getting Captcha's.

I'm using brave as well and able to view the site no issues - but yeah, i did up the settings in cloudflare temporarily..
OK. So you know how many different setting there is for Brave. Can you think of any (on/off) settings in Brave that might cause this, or help resolve this?

Now, I'm about to give up. I'm on Chromium and JUST posted the reply above, then clicked the what's new button above and got:

the what's new is offline error above the linux.org logo

Strange. I use Brave on occasion and have never had an issue. Yet.
