I am using dual boot on Lenovo legion 5 which has a screen with refresh rate of 165 Hz. I am trying to use night light on the laptop throughout the day, but am unable it to work on linux. Everything works as expected on windows and the night light works properly and the properties of the display are shown correctly as well. On Linux however, the refresh rate of the monitor is shown to be 77 Hz and it can't be changed. Furthermore, The night light is not working either, no matter what i set the time to be. It was working fine yesterday night and showed the refresh rate to be 165 Hz as it is supposed to and the night light was working properly as well on Linux. Restarting hasn't helped either as I have tried multiple times till now.

Can someone help me out here? Any suggestions are welcome.

I just upgraded all the system files, using
Bash:
sudo apt upgrade
and everything seems to have gotten fixed.

Usually there is an option in the display settings to change your refresh rate if you have multiple options.
