[solved] My laptop's screen is blank but my external monitor works just fine

This happens to me sometimes on Manjaro, except I see the taskbar down the bottom on the blank screen, all I do is log out and relog in.

Hello again and sorry this might be a repost but my laptop's screen still doesn't work on linux and only gives me a black screen and doesn't turn on after i close my laptop's lid and when i go to single display mode but my monitor works just fine but on windows the laptop screen works just fine.
I tried many distros like linux mint, kubuntu, lubuntu, openSUSE Tumbleweed, elementaryos, MX, and even ubuntu 22.04 beta and the same thing.
Ubuntu says that my laptop's screen is unknown and i know what is nomodeset and it makes gaming worse and it only goes update 800x600 on kubuntu and linux mint.

No need to double-post when the problem is still the same problem/related problem. Stick to one post, so we can see what you've done already.

my laptop's drivers are going to be downloadable soon i think so if someone reverse engineers the drivers to make them work with linux my display issues will be gone

I usually avoid absolutely brand new hardware unless it's pretty generic. Otherwise, it can take a little while for Linux to catch up and support all the hardware.

Is there a hardware switch to turn the monitor off and on? It's often an Fn switch.

that looks like the correct driver so the problem lays with the computers connection to the monitor, now your leaving my area
please run terminal command .. xrandr ..[with both screens connected] and paste back the Full report
hopefully someone with a bit more practice with multiple screens will pick up on it
i got some pretty awesome news i fixed the issue aka the linux mint post fixed it and i switch to linux
