Raman, when are you going to learn these basic things yourself. You have been using GNU/Linux for over a year now these are basic things you should be able to do yourself now, it's basic package management.Code:pacman -Qs slack
sudo pacman -R slack
sudo pacman -R slackSeems some other package manager is locking something for you, try the following.
Code:sudo pacman -R slack
sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck
pamac remove slack
sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck 1 ✘Then try this.
Code:sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck pamac remove slack
slack-desktop was installed successfully and you should be able to open it through the menu.Transaction successfully finished.
After a year of using Linux, installing and removing packages you should at least have a basic understanding of what to do now just from that experiencethank you for help.
actually i am busy doing my M.Sc. physics so i have less time to go deeper in Linux.
