I just installed this new distro: "Hefftor Linux" XFCE 64-bit.

It's available in Gnome and other DE's too.
Anyway it runs really nice and looks great on my gaming rig.

Here's a few screenshots:

So far my wife likes it and so do I.

So far so good and it's easy to install and the update manager is just like the update mgr in Manjaro.

BTW, it's not on distrowatch yet.

A bit late in the day, but I am just downloading this to try out on a usb. It looks very nice as does Endeavour os. We shall see how it goes for this Newbie.

@Alexzee interesting never heard of that one - do you think long term we will both end up on Vanilla Arch ?

I went for EndeavourOS since it uses Arch repo ; thus i can use pacman -Ss to search for packages and also use AUR packages either manually via PKGBUILD or via yay. I guess its early days if you just installed it , so i will have to ask later how those commands play out on terminal.

When i look at the package system i like it; just packahes with version numbers none of that priority 100, 500 etc that you get with Debian.

@Alexzee Thanks for sharing! Looks quite nice from the screenshots, just tried installing it in a vm but it uses the same Calamares installer(just like 99% of the other Arch based distributions) which doesn't support lvm. So that makes it not worth my time since lvm setup during installation is a requirement for my setups, I'll just stick to vanilla Arch since I'm used to that now.

I'm not sure if you will end up with Vanilla Arch.
That would be nice though.

I only tested Hefftor Linux for 2 weeks and no matter what I tried I wasn't able to get it to boot correctly on my bf's Toshibia laptop. It ran flawlessly on my Asus Tuf Gaming desktop.
