PREP STICK 1. Insert target stick and check for it in File Manager Make sure you do not want those files, or else make backup arrangements. 2. With stick in place, open GParted and establish it can be seen. If stick has a partition/s you can delete it/them in one of two ways - a. click the trash icon or b. right-click the highlighted entry and choose Delete If stick has NO partitions (here) c. right-click the entry and choose format to and choose FAT32 and enter. In certain circumstances, you may get an error here. If so, OK it and let GParted finish its operations, then close GParted, remove and reinsert the stick and continue to format to FAT32 done? 3. Choose Device - Create Partition Table, and choose MS-DOS not GPT and continue. Once that completes, click to highlight the Unallocated Space, and click on Partition, then New. In the popup box, allow all the space to be used, and choose FAT32, not EXT4, and OK the changes. When all is still, click the icon that reads Apply All Operations. When that completes, if your stick is on /dev/sdb, you should now have /dev/sdb1 showing. Exit GParted, wait a few seconds then eject the stick. We are now ready to burn the .iso.
