What do I do to get the "disc" tray to open on command?

I think that's pretty clear, eh? When a cd is in the tray it won't open when I push the button. Why not and what do I do about it? I am pretty sure it has to do with mounting the drive, but do you have to unmount the drive EVERY time you trade discs?

Why yes it does. :) Thank you. One problem solved. I'll probably remember that one later too. I hadn't got to that part in the manuals yet.
