On my Samsung n150 plus i'm currently running Fedora 14, Ubuntu 11.04, windows 7 ... Windows is still needed so I can run xencenter - there are some Linux options for it but not as good as the citrix/windows one..

Linux runs pretty good on it - it seems that neither of them (Fedora/ubuntu) like getting fancy on the touchpad.. it works, but scrolling isn't working great yet..

Regardless of what operating system i'm using, i don't work well on touch pads, i still don't understand how anyone can work with it.

Nice to get some information about how it runs on your system though, thanks for the share.

Have you tried Linux Mint on your netbook?

Linux Mint is nothing more than a Ubuntu without Unity.
