    It was around Halloween of 1998. Eric Raymond (ESR) published leaked documents from Microsoft and we all learned what FUD meant (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) and how Microsoft used FUD frequently as a marketing strategy.

    Instead of me going on about the Halloween Documents, here are some links to take you back in time - and learn a little something. Were you using Linux when these came out?
