Setting up LDAP in Ubuntu

    I am new in ubuntu, now I am trying to configure LDAP.
    I am facing to many error during my configuration, here are some error can some please help me to solve those:
    1- When I run this command:
    sudo ldapsearch -Q -LLL EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -b cn=config dn
    the error massage is:
    ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Local error (-2)
    additional info: SASL(0): successful result:
    I will be very glade if some one can assist me.

    I see that no one could answer your question in the past 8 days. I hate seeing unanswered questions. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with LDAP enough to answer your question. I saw this link for Ubuntu LDAP servers and thought it might help you.
