    Yes, I was surprised when a Windows desktop popped up on my screen. :D

    Definitely not Windows.:D

    A Tux png image super-imposed over a computer generated image of a wooden wall. Tux and the wall were both done by people with talent. I only put them together (using GIMP).

    I am one of the aforementioned "snobby elitists"...

    Or maybe I'm just someone who believes it's correct to use the correct name of an OS?

    I don't think you needed to make excuses for paying for windows and posting a screenshot of it on a GNU/Linux forum - I'd say that no one really minds and most would respect your right to state your opinions. Irrespective of this however, windows is still a shit OS and personally I wouldn't use it for free let alone pay good money for it...

    My desktops aren't nearly as cool as some of yours.

    My two work VMs:

    My Arch desktop at home is a bit more interesting, but I'll have to post that when I'm not at work.

    Would not take much to make them look great. I prefer simplicity, so your displays are great foundations to make awesome desktops. A beautiful analogue clock or a small Conky and your screen would be a work of art.:)

    Could I trouble you for the code to your network graphs? I would like to compare it to the graphs I have.

    Code:
    Network ${hr 2}
        ${alignc}  wlp5s0 ${addr wlp5s0}
        Inbound $alignr ${downspeed wlp5s0} kb/s
        ${downspeedgraph wlp5s0}
        Outbound $alignr ${upspeed wlp5s0} kb/s
        ${upspeedgraph wlp5s0}
    That's all!

    I love KDE. Just so simple, but customizable. Even got my wobbly windows and desktop cube.

    I use the terminal most of the time anyway, why do I need a fancy desktop?:)

    Ha funny you mention that, thats pretty much what my home desktop looks like :). I'm also a fan of minimal desktops.

    This is my Arch book with XFCE and conky. Haven't even bothered to move/change the icons heh. Xterm opens at boot on the right side of the screen so I've never even seen them :D
