New to Linux World

    Hi everyone:


    I am brand new user in Linux. I haven't even yet installed linux in my computer coz I was having some issues. Currently, I'm trying to intall linux in my computer as a virtual OS. Any ideas and suggestion is appreciated.

    Grab a free copy of Virtual Box (or any other VM app) and download a free linux image. If you're brand new you'll probably want to try Ubuntu or Linux Mint. There are a lot of instructions with a simple google search.

    Welcome to the Linux world Baj, Give Ubuntu a try as a beginner to Linux, also there are lots of distros available around depending on your requirement. And yes good luck for your journey, and you are not alone :)
