I want to make a OS. To do that I need packages, right? I want to use my own format of package. But so far for package selection I will use:
    Code:
    syslinux
    kernel-vanilla
    filesystem
    coreutils
    util-linux
    ksh
    tar
    logon
    syslogd
    sudo
    bzip2
    gzip
    xz
    lzma
    nano
    links
    ethtool
    wifi-menu(From Arch Linux)
    Update:
    bc
    htop
    qemu
    Look alright?

Your software list looks good. You may want to use Tinycore or Microcore Linux as a base to start with and build up from there.
