    I'm not quite sure what you're looking for though. If it truly is a legal matter I have a feeling you'd be better off meeting with an actual lawyer. :)

    Thank you, although I know my post is really vague.
    Basically there is this parental control program I made which I'd like to offer but don't want to take responsibility and blame in case something goes wrong with it due to whatever may be.

    I would recommend GPLv3. It (as well as GPLv2) states there is no warranty.
