LInux version for embedded system development

    Iam new to linux and i like to start with the embedded systems development,.
    I like to have the OS that help me in programming and having all the drivers that help me through the process.


    help me in choosing the linux version

    Raspberry Pi is a good platform for this sort of thing. They're very cheap and they have drivers for all the onboard peripherals. Most programming languages are available on Raspberry Pi. The GPIO pins make it easy to connect sensors/motors/etc your Pi.

    Or you could get a Beagleboard or Beaglebone.
