    LC-Power Silent Giant 600W LC6600GP2 V2.3
    WD 1TB SATA III, 64MB, 3.5", 7200rpm, Caviar Blue - WD10EZEX

    If your system is built, rather than hypothetical, you could try LiveCDs of Arch Derivatives to see if it works... :

    Yes, that should work. Like arochester said, you can prove it by booting from the Live-CD which will not ruin your data.
