Install Linux Fedora 17 and FAILED...

    So I tried to install Fedora 17 on my computer as a dual boot...and it failed...no errors, just a blank grey screen with a blinking cursor.
    Sorry if this is posted again, I tried to post it once but I don't think it actually posted...

    I have Windows 7 64bit, any other info you need please let me know.
    I'm a complete noob to this so please be patient with me. Thanks!

    Where you getting blank grey screen, in the booting time or any other steps.

    Did you check the MD5 check sum of ISO?

    I actually got a different linux...I got Ubuntu and installed a fresh copy onto an EEE PC. Thanks for the help for this topic. I'll post a different topic later for the ubuntu help.

    abcfatboy, if you want to get Ubuntu to look like Fedora, use GNOME. (That is what Fedora uses)
