I have an old iBook G4 and would like to pass it down to my daughter to play games and watch videos on Youtube. Is there a Linux system that can play Flash on this machine?

Specs:
Machine Model: iBook G4
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.2)
Number of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 1.2 GHz
L2 Cache: 512 KB
Memory: 768 MB
Bus Speed: 133 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.8.7f1

I'm not experienced at all with anything Linux, but have seen recommendations that Ubuntu, Debian, Yellow Dog and Mint PPC would be my workable options.

A direct download link (not sure if I have to get a certain version due to the iBook's age) would be greatly! appreciated as well as input about being able to use Flash.

Linux Mint will play flash out of the box, as long as you download a version that does not say, "No Codecs".

Ubuntu will work as well, but you have to remember to click the check box that says, "Install restricted extras" during the installation. Or, after install, you can go to the Ubuntu Software Center and install Ubuntu Restricted Extras.

Remember, you'll have to download a PPC-compaitible distro; the standard x86 isos and installers won't do much of anything on a PowerPC processor.
