    Hello everyone!

My name is Jesse Hakinson and I live in Oregon. I've never used Linux for reals, but I have seen snapshots of Linux OS's. I think this would be something great to work on.

I don't have any computers that I own, if I wished...

but like I said, I'm working hard to save up for a computer. I'm looking into one of those Lenovo Windows 7 laptops.

Hell with it! I'm not using Windows 8!

My reasoning with not using Win8, is because every time you start up the computer, you click on one of those live tiles, to access your stuff much easier. At least you can disable that in Win8.1.

I share your opinion about W8. The first time I used it I was so lost in that interface that I could't find the shutdown button and had to use "cmd > shutdown /s" to turn it off. Lol...

You will be surprised with the GNU/Linux OS's and how much fun they are!;)

I just use a pile of junk. Typing on a $25 fixup IBM laptop. (I also have a $75 dual core Lenovo desktop I got from ebay...)
