I noticed that some people on the Internet want an alternative to Razer's Game Booster for their Linux system. I personally do not need or want it, but I thought it may benefit someone later if the answer were here. Does anyone have any ideas?

For those of you unfamiliar with Razer's Game Booster, it is an application that optimizes the computer for gaming before the game starts. All unnecessary processes are stopped, thus leaving more resources for the game.

    It exists... it's called "Slackware".

Are you being serious? Is Slackware optimized for gaming?

Slackware does this out of the box - i.e. there are no unnecessary processes running to start with.

Please qualify how "arch has even less than slackware".

Arch tends to be even more bare. Less services, less everything.

Arch is very light weight, on a recent install it was about 360 megs, obviously mine has more now, but it's lightweight.
