    Hello!
I don't have hard drive on my computer so I am using Mint's live CD version, but I want to try out Elementary OS Luna..

I burned it on USB stick and when I am booting it with "Try Elementary OS without installation" I get black screen.

I red that i need to select nomodeset and try to boot again. I got this:

    1) What are the basic specs of your computer?

    2) How did you put it on a USB stick?

Is imagewriter not just for .img files?

Is it not an .iso that you have? The commonest way of putting an .so onto a USB stick is to use unetbootin.
