I have recently installed Centos 6.4 to my PC as a dual boot(windows) along with a canon printer. i didn't get any errors while installation. i have deleted the printer and installed for number of occasions with the web interface and with the rpm. I am sure that the ppd pile is correct. Unfortunately the printout doesn't come out or in another words the printer doesn't sounds anything either. I can confirm the physical connection is correct. before I got an error saying : cannot open FIFO permission denied. Then i was able to give the correct path to the usb port. There after the printer stated to show as "processing : printer is online".
I will upload the error log and will point out some errors that I have figured out.

Yes I have downloaded from the correct website. I have also checked the paper size but the problem exists. Still it shows processing and the printer is online. Any idea ?
