    Hi to the community,
I am a new member and I don't know much of Linux. So if anyone can help is appreciated. I have created a live DVD to boot my old laptop with it but although it is working with my desktop, it doesn't with my laptop. It is a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo pro v2020 with 512 ram. I have checked the boot sequence and when there is the dvd it tries to boot from it and after some time it starts the installed windows xp. I am wondering if there is an older distro to create a live dvd to boot with. Any ideas accepted

    1) What distro are you trying?
    2) Does you laptop have a DVD-Rom or just a CD-Rom?
