Stacking Window Manager

Fluxbox is a stacking window manager that forked off of Blackbox in 2001. Fluxbox requires very little RAM and other resources. This explains why it is popular among live CD Linux distributions.

Light-weight and functional. Includes a full-featured panel, so does not need to be configured if one prefers function over appearance, making it usable for both experts and beginners. Those beyond the beginner level can configured it to include more functions and aesthetics.
