C Shell (CSH): Unix shell made by Bill Joy

C Shell or csh was invented by Bill Joy (co-founder of Sun Microsystems) in 1978. Csh is a shell with C-like syntax. Some systems like Mac and Red Hat Linux appear to use csh, but they are using tcsh. However, on Debian systems, tcsh and csh are two separate shells.
