VIDEO IN UBUNTU 12.04

I have a Dell Dim 3000, Pent. 4, 2Gb ram, built in Intel 82865G Graphics controller, dual booting Ubuntu 12.04/Windows XP. Videos, YouTube and the like look good in XP but are green hued and not very clear in Ubuntu. I tried searching for drivers in Ubuntu but nothing comes up. I would like to use a small LED HD TV for my monitor later on. Would you all recommend a new graphics/video card? Not to pricey as I am not into games but like the videos and such.
What concerns should I look out for? ie: slots, power requirements, ect. ??
